Pirarucu, Largest Fresh Water Fish in the World

Arapaima, pirarucu, or paiche (Arapaima gigas) is a type of the largest freshwater fish in the world who come from tropical waters of South America. Arapaima fish can grow up to 3 meters long and weighing 200 pounds. We have been very rare Arapaima measuring more than 2 meters because these fish are often rounded up to the population consumed or exported to other countries.
